Chief Executive Officer
Brad Bloch serves as Chief Executive Officer of Fishing Mobile Foundation, Inc., a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization developing tools and technology for anglers, boaters, and people using marine and freshwater environments.
What the role covers
Brad provides executive leadership for the Foundation. That includes setting organizational priorities, overseeing operations and partnerships, and guiding the direction of the products the Foundation builds and the technical work behind them.
He also carries the Foundation's responsibility to its mission as a nonprofit: keeping the organization's work aimed at fishing, boating and safer use of waterways, and keeping the technology accessible to the people it is built for.
Alongside the organization's own revenue, Brad personally contributes to some of the infrastructure the products depend on: weather and data services, servers, hosting and the Firebase backend the apps run on. That support is additional to what the Foundation funds itself rather than a substitute for it, and it is one part of how the technical work is paid for.

Fishing Mobile Foundation develops technology for fishing, boating, marine navigation and weather awareness. The work spans the FishingMobile apps and the website, with a continuing emphasis on safety and on making marine information easier to understand.
Fishing technology
Catch logging, species information and the angling tools people use on the water.
Marine navigation
Chart-based navigation, route planning and position information for coastal and inland waters.
Weather and tides
Marine weather, radar, wind, tide and solunar information brought together in one place.
Angler tools
Lures, rigging, knots and the reference material anglers reach for while they are fishing.
Fishing logs and species information
Personal catch records, trips and species references members build up over time.
Boating and navigation tools
Trip planning, float plans and preparation tools aimed at getting people home safely.
Continued technical development
Ongoing engineering and research work across the app, the website and the platforms behind them.
